Hallway lights - Energy Conservation at Plus 38?
For years, 6 hallway lights have been lit during day time hours on the 3rd and 4th floors. Floors 5-9 are not lit during daytime hours due to the natural light from airshafts. Plus floors 5-9 have only 5 lights lit in the hallway. So why does floors 3 and 4 need 6 lights? Very strange and Building Management and Committee cannot provide and answer and will not change to 5 lights. Also, Committee refuses to install LED lights on 3rd and 4th floors! And these lights are lit 24 hours a day! Committee and We Wise Management are NOT interested in reducing electric expense (LED bulbs use 50% less electricity) and have no concern about Energy Conservation!
The previous Committee tried to make and Energy Conservation sub-committee, but was denied by Committee President Thanadit. Obviously, saving electricity and conserving energy are not important.
Hallway lights are lit 24/7 on 3rd and 4th floors, even though there is natural light shafts in Plus 38 Condo. SINFUL waste of energy.
The Residents of Bangkok and Government support Khun Supannee's efforts to help solve the Pollution Problems in Bangkok. Khun Supannee saw the Pollution problem, the impact on schools closing, people wearing masks. Khun Supannee knew that Energy Conservation will reduce carbon emissions and reduce building Electric costs by 50%. Khun Supannee also had the foresight to know that this change would cost zero! The LED bulbs could be easily moved from other floors and installed on 3rd and 4th floors where fluorescent lights are lit 24 hours a day!
Unfortunately, Khun Supannee's concern for Bangkok's Pollution problem was BLOCKED, by one person. The Building Committee President Refused to allow Khun Supannee to install LED lights! The Residents of Bangkok and Government do not support this decision! We did not want Plus 38 Condo to be a contributor to the Pollution problems of Bangkok.
We do praise Khun Supannee and We Wise Management for being good citizens and caring about the people and health of Bangkok. Keep up the good work, do not stop with your smart plans for energy conservation and solving Bangkok's Pollution Problem.
